Port Placement is Scheduled!

Just a quick mini update guys, I’m getting my port placed next Tuesday! (1/16/18)

I’m so excited that soon the days of countless peripheral IV sticks will be behind me. And I’ll be started on banana bags shortly after hopefully, to prevent me from becoming incredibly vitamin deficient since I don’t eat food. With the surgery itself finally scheduled and squared away, I now need to start thinking about home health. Though I think it’s ridiculous that I have to figure out this stuff on my own with no help from my doctors office. I’m hoping the hospital where I get my port placed will have a home health side that can get me set up.

But all in all this is finally happening, if there are no port related blog posts then head over to my Instagram, there will probably be updates there. If there aren’t any posts at all then I’m probably sleeping.
